12 pm and 6:30 pm Class focuses on functional movement and the foundation of balance and stability (core and centeredness). Slowing it down, use of bolsters and props to support from the ground up. Targeting Individual needs and abilities during the class so each student can work on what they need to feel better in various poses. No one is left behind to figure it out on their own. We hold poses longer and use education as well as meditation to build your yoga and wellness practice. This is a great class for beginners, those wanting to get a great foundation for balance, flexibility, completely letting go of any tension or resistance in the body and mind. Yoga Basics with Amber- If you are new or wanting to return to the foundational basics of yoga, this class is for YOU. We will learn about fundamental poses, breathing techniques, deep relaxation, alignment, and meditation. Yoga increases spinal health and strength, lessens joint pain, and will even help you sleep better at night. Your own personal practice will help you understand body awareness, balance, and focus.
